| Am I missing something? I swear the title of the article makes it seem like this man went through some horrible ordeal, like being beating, starved, tutored and such, but the article doesnt mention any of those things.Did I miss a paragraph or two? |

Nice to hear that someone understand the internet.BUT when they say International, do they mean global or just Canada, UK, Germany and France?
Futurologist? Is that a bit like a science fiction writer?

Typically you would expect this type of article to appear a little later in the year, but being that temperatures have been a lot colder than usual for this time of year, this article seems rather fitting.

Monopolies and cartels can exist in a free market but they brake so easly that they aren't worth thinking about. But because of government intervention, competition is stiffled through regulations and mandates. Only in this environment of high regulation costs and uncertainty can big business compete. This is why they constantly push for more regulations, so they don't have to compete with new businesses that could "steal" their share by offering better services and lower prices. Cartels and monopolies can exist without the government, but they only thrive when the government supports them.Net neutrality, as monopolies and cartel, wouldn't really matter in a free market. If a business started charging more from some content over another, another business could come in and charge no more for the same content. But with the burden of government and regulations, this can't be possible. The only achievement of government with regulations is the need for more regulations. When the government fails, which it always does, it gets more powerful and calls for more legislation to correct its failures. I'm surprised that our economy is still healthy with all the attacks coming from government. From monetary inflation causing the business cycle to regulations, we still have a good quality of life. It shows that the market and humans in general are pretty flexible and ingenious. Now imagine no government at all. I'm touching myself.?
And a host of other continuity issues or poor decisions shown in this short clip, like the military/national guard showing up in a matter of minutes to close down the streets. And keeping a group of people on one side of the barricade from joining the HUGE group of people on the other side of the barricade. And that jet crash effect looked terrible. I really wanted to like this show, being a fan of the original, but this looks like crap. |

Umm, probably because it improves the the spatial ability of a child when they try compare it to a "normal" map. That's a big part of a persons intelligence. It sucks you couldn't appreciate what the designer might have been trying to do for you. I think it's a great idea.
